FAQ
Common questions
What ages is Color Catcher designed for?
Color Catcher is designed for children ages 4 and up, but players of all ages can enjoy it. The Easy difficulty is great for younger players, while Hard mode challenges older kids and adults.
Does the game need an internet connection?
No. Color Catcher works 100% offline. Play it on airplanes, road trips, or anywhere — no WiFi or data needed.
Does Color Catcher collect any data about my child?
No. We collect zero data. No personal info, no analytics, no tracking of any kind. The player name and scores are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere. See our
full privacy policy.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. Color Catcher is a one-time purchase. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no premium upgrades. You get the full game.
Can multiple kids play on the same device?
Yes! The local leaderboard lets multiple players add their name and avatar. Up to 10 scores are saved per difficulty level, so siblings and friends can compete for the top spot.
How do I reset the leaderboard?
Deleting and reinstalling the app will clear all saved scores and player profiles. A built-in reset option is planned for a future update.
What controls does the game support?
Touch/finger on phones and tablets, mouse on computers, and keyboard (arrow keys or A/D). All three control methods work at any time.
